Chapter 187 Level 21
Chapter 187 Level 21
"Three levels for not having to fight… pretty good." Arthur was happy with it. "Player stats." He summoned the data and took a look at it.
"Hmm… almost all my stats have gone above 20 now except for Intelligence. I also have plenty of Free Stat points… I should use a few to balance out again." Arthur muttered to himself and go to using the Free stat points.

As soon as Arthur finished putting the points in, he felt a rush of energy in his body.
"Ah!" Arthur groaned in a mix of pain and relief.
The Synchronization stat made it so that Arthur felt the changes a lot more intensely than others. It was a strange feeling for him and hard to describe. The best he could describe it was the brief pain one felt when popping one\'s spine or neck.
The pain was short and intense, but once that passed one would feel rather relaxed.
Arthur clenched his fists feeling the rising strength of his muscles. Moving his fingers, Arthur could somewhat tell they were better at sudden changes.
\'Strength and Dexterity are the easiest to perceive among the stats… Agility can be felt by running but Toughness and Vitality are harder to perceive.\' Arthur thought about the stats. \'As for the non physical stats… it doesn\'t feel like anything. He realized.
The Non-Physical stats were the hardest ones to differentiate since they touched upon things humans normally didn\'t feel.
\'Perhaps the best way to check it would be to feel the mana itself?\' Arthur closed his eyes, attempting to do the same.
A minute later he opened his eyes, a look of confusion on his face.
"Guess the mana concentration is simply too low for me to tell here. I was able to sense it well enough back at the Resident mage\'s house though." Arthur reckoned he would need the non-physical stats to be higher to sense the ambient mana better.
Another minute later, Arthur felt like things had settled down for him.
"That should balance things out a bit better. Now most of my physical stat are at 30 which should put me above most foes around here." Arthur said to himself as he felt confident in taking on more enemies now. "And… since I\'m already here I may as well finish another bounty I got left." He said while looking at the time.
Arthur still had around five hours left till it was time for him to log out.
"Come out Brambles, time to hunt again," Arthur called the beetle.
"KIIII~" Brambles raised its horn, sensing the smell of blood and smoke in the air, letting out an anxious cry.
"It\'s fine now." Arthur calmed the beetle down, having sensed its thoughts.
"Mi~" The beetle lowered its head.
"Though, we still have one more beast to kill," Arthur spoke. "The Blood Mane Sickle Beast."
"KR III!~" Brambles was ready for the fight and expressed his enthusiasm.
"Yes, yes, you can see how far you can toss it in the air." Arthur nodded his head.
With the Dragon Horn Beetle ready, Arthur first checked where the location of the Blood Mane Sickle beast was.
\'It should be in the middle somewhere…\' Arthur recalled the information.
It was on his way back to the town anyways, thus Arthur wouldn\'t be spending any extra time on detours. Plus he didn\'t think it would take him that long to hunt it now.
\'Considering its level, and my current stats, it should die quickly.\' Arthur reckoned.
He traveled alongside Brambles for about an hour during which there was basically no conflict for them.
"Did the battle in the distance scare them into hiding?" Arthur wondered as usually he should have come across at least a couple of enemies. \'Well the Orcs should now become more disorganized and roam around more often, but the other beasts should still be present\' he thought to himself.
Arthur wondered how the change would affect Trunel Woods as this was the first time the Orc Tribe was disbanded like this.
\'Normally they should be absorbed by other Orc Tribes, but there are none here. Perhaps they\'ll just end up dying to players when they appear here.\' Arthur guessed as he soon reached his intended location.
"Kirk!" Brambles alerted Arthur at that moment.
"Several of them? Hmm… You can take care of the weaker ones, I\'ll handle the big one." Arthur replied. "And don\'t worry, I\'ll let you toss it as well."
"KRI!" Brambles responded in agreement and went along with Arthur\'s plan.
They sneaked closer while passing through trees and finally looked at their target.
\'There it is…\' Arthur gazed upon the Blood Mane Sickle Beast which was lounging on a large rock.
The Blood Mane Sickle beast was about the size of a tiger and had a dark red mane that looked like flowing blood when it swayed in the wind. Its fur was dark brown but had a blood colored tail.
It had a face that was similar to a feline, but unlike other felines, it had long sickle like growths on its forelimbs.
The rock that the Blood Mane Sickle beast was lounging upon looked rather strange though. It had been carved in such a way that a bed like depression had been made in it. In this depression, a bunch of bones were gathered, as if it were a nest.
But instead of sticks and twigs that birds would use, bones had been used to make this nest. Arthur curiously took a closer look at the nest and saw that the bones were of various beasts and creatures.
